Hi! I’m Heather Coleman-Voss, owner of Career Savvy Coaching.

Here’s a little bit about me, my philosophy, my beliefs, and my areas of expertise.

My Core Values

I believe every person deserves to feel safe, seen, and respected — exactly as they are. I am deeply committed to human rights, social justice, and creating spaces where people from all walks of life feel valued and supported.

I work with people from all backgrounds, and my heart has always been especially with women, LGBTQIA+ folks, Black and Brown communities, and anyone who has ever been marginalized, underestimated, or made to feel small. Transgender clients are safe with me.

My Professional Background

Previously an educator, I began working in the career development field in 2006 and launched Career Savvy Coaching part-time in 2009. Throughout my career, I’ve worked closely with local governments, business owners, human resource professionals, staffing agencies, and recruiters.

Through my work, it became clear that many of us have struggled with toxic workplace cultures and abusive bosses. As a survivor myself, I realized that narcissistic abuse mirrors the same patterns in the workplace as it does in the home.

I’m a trauma-informed professional and specialize in toxic workplace culture, narcissistic personality disorder, CPTSD, trauma recovery, and abuse education. I am extremely familiar with anxiety, ADHD, executive function issues, HSP, neurodivergence, and the strengths and challenges related to those issues.

I have a degree in Education and Psychology, and I hold various certifications in career, life, relationship, business, and leadership coaching.

My Personal Life

On the personal side, people tell me I’m funny, personable, engaging, and empathetic. I’d have to agree! My wonderful life partner and I are both small business owners and dog parents to three adorable, goofy, sweet rescue boys whom you can see on my Meet the Team page (they’ll definitely show up in our sessions!). I’m a proud mom to my amazing adult daughter and a doting cat grandma of two!

For fun, I love to write, read science fiction, dance around to music from the 80’s and 90’s, and take walks around my great little city.
